btw. For location-aware, South-american literature I was entertained with the following:
-Death in the Andes/ Tod in den Anden by Vargas IIosa; ->Amazon.de
-The Infinite Plan/ Der unendliche Plan by Isabel Allende; ->Amazon.de

Any Argentina-based novels you can point me to?

Comment on 3 Types of Foodlove by mk

Hey Markus, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure about the list either ;)
and btw: someone like you was exactly what I had in mind with a "real" foodlover!

Part of why I came to write this down, was that I was wondering myself which group I would count myself to. I like knowing and learning about the food I eat and understanding how to make it is fun, BUT: even there the community aspect and the outcome are still the real point for me. So I admit- more of a type 2..
But because guys like you show me that there is so much more than just happiness for your tastebuds, part of my new years resolution is to really get my hands in the pots, maybe even work in a professional kitchen for a while.
To maybe one day at Kitchen Guerilla ! I'm dying if I see all your photos and stories.

If your list is true, which I am not sure about, I guess I can say that I am a Real One. There is no place wehre I feel more home than the kitchen, and especially my own kitchen. I love celebrating hours for a dinner, even if it is just for myself. In fact, I love cooking for myself. You can take as much time as you want, you can listen to music very loud AND no one disturbs you and asks what to do, how he could help and such. The German saying is true: Viele Köche verderben den Brei! Unless it is something more professional or you both know what to do, like at Kitchen Guerilla.

Unfortunately I’m not even near Munich, but all of this looks and sounds so great that it actually would be a good reason alone to go for a weekend trip to Munich.
